Northholm is an All-Through School meaning we are ‘one school, one campus, one culture’ from Kindergarten to Year 12. Our specialist staff work across the entire school and our philosophical whole-school approach is centred on the growth and development of students as ‘learners and persons’.
Northholm Grammar’s educational approach is underpinned by the following core principles: high expectations, explicit teaching, knowledge-based curriculum, deliberate practice, feedback and strong relationships between teachers and students. Our teachers know, care, challenge and support the growth and development of our students at a level beyond larger schools.
Northholm believes firmly in character development to support our students in becoming the best versions of themselves. This includes a strong pastoral care program based on the House System and Tutors. Our developmental program is focused on decision making and goal setting. We want to ensure students have a sense of belonging, that they realise their full potential and they leave school having the capacity to make the right moral and ethical decisions.
