How to Enrol

Northholm Grammar is an independent, non-selective Kindergarten to Year 12 co-educational school. We are a school with inclusive Christian values, in the Anglican tradition, that welcomes families of all faiths and embraces diversity and inclusivity.

Our major entry points are in Kindergarten, Year 5 and Year 7, however we accept enrolments across all year groups subject to positions being available. We invite enquiries all year round, including students transitioning during the year.

Please note that availability for Year 7 2024 is now limited. Please contact our Head of Enrolments for further information.

We are currently enrolling for 2025 entry across all year groups pending vacancies. Note that Kindergarten and Year 7 places are filling fast.

Applications for 2026 and beyond are now welcome.

Priority Placement

Priority is allocated to students who will benefit most from an environment of high expectation and rigour. The selection criteria takes into account a student’s current commitment and application to learning as well as their behaviour profile. Siblings of current or past students and children of alumni are allocated higher positions on the wait list. Date of initial application determines the position on the wait list but this alone does not guarantee an invitation to interview with the School.

Northholm has a limited number of scholarships available for exceptional students entering Year 5, Year 7 and Year 11.

Enrolment Process

Experience all Northholm has to offer at one of our School Tours.
Complete an online Application Form (one per student), include all the required documentation and pay the Application Fee. You will be placed on the wait list. Please note that incomplete applications with missing reports will not be considered. Ensure all requested information and reports are uploaded to your child’s application to avoid delays in the review process. Please be aware that our selection criteria for interview includes but is not limited to, factors such as a student’s past academic and behavioural records, their commitment to learning, the gender balance within the cohort where enrolment is sought, and the commitment of students and their parents to support the School’s ethos and expectations.
Students and parents will be invited to interview with the Head of Enrolments, followed by the Principal.
If Northholm Grammar offers your child a place at the school, you will receive a Letter of Offer.
Following receipt of the signed Acceptance of Enrolment Form and Acceptance Fee, Northholm will allocate your child to a House and Pastoral Group prior to commencement. We will also provide you with details regarding the purchase of school uniform, textbooks, trasport information, etc.
